Abstract

Birth rate analysis in Chile , between 1952 and 1989 in different levels accordlng to administrative divisions of the country, shows a great change in spatial and temporal terms . The rates analized are : crude birth rate, birth rate for the population between 15 and 50 years ofage, fertillty rate and birth rate according to mother's groups ofage.
