Abstract

Theelectors of acountryshowtherpreferences bycomplexprocesses. Thereisaset of variablesthatexplainthelocational, sociological and cultural characters that haveasignificant influence intheprocess of electoraldecissions .Inthisarticle,a methodologicalapproachisproposed.Itisbased infourlocationalvariables{distance,accesibility,population hierarchyand leveis of access to information) and six variables of sociological and cultural characters (urban and rural aspects, illiteracy, poverty,age,unemploymentandactivliies of tbepopulation) .Withthisvariablesitispossible toestablishpatterns of electoral preferences.Also,itispossible todetermine the real representativityof thepolitical organizations of popular generation.
