The present study of this serie has the purpose of getting to know the paers about Modern Geography published in 1839 by the politician from Mendoza Tomás Godoy Cruz. His contribution was the first publication in Chile with teaching purposes an inspire Andrés Bello to start with his study on Cosmography.
