Valoración de la geodiversidad. Validación metodológica en escalas detalladas

Abstract

Geodiversity studies are still rare, do not have a sufficiently developed theoretical or methodological body, and are primarily applied at small scales. The purpose of this paper is to develop and implement a process for assessing geodiversity at detailed scales. To this end, a method based on previous experiences, focused on a trial and error method, supported by an extensive field-work and using geographic information systems is proposed. Validation was performed in Muntanyes d'Ordal (Barcelona, Spain). The results show a predominance of surfaces with medium (37.34 %) and high values (36.24%).
